Message: I always enjoy going to Quality Hardware. Not only can I walk around the whole place in 1minute, the staff always knows when I need help, and their happy attitude makes you want to talk to them. They might be small, but they always have what I need.

Message: I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful of a customer service experience I have found at this store. “Family owned” seems to be thrown around a lot but this is literally a single family running this place and they could not be more welcoming. Their prices are at or under any of the chain places but their personal touch is at such a level I felt compelled to write this review. I have already been encouraging everyone I know to give this place their business and if you’re scrolling past this review I highly recommend you come through too! Skylar and Shane have been incredibly helpful to me three days in a row at closing time with various home project disasters I found myself managing. This family’s knowledge and approachability is special and I’m grateful to have randomly wandered in here; now, I have a go-to source for help and friendly advice.

Message: I needed to find a micro star kit or bit and he helped me find exactly what I needed at the lowest cost possible. Really great customer service and knowledge. I just wish they were closer to my home because I plan on making the trip back time after time.

Message: I love having this place in my neighborhood! the employees are always so helpful and they somehow have almost anything I’ve ever wanted in stock. when they didn’t, they ordered it in for me! highly recommend coming here rather than a big chain.

Message: Every time someone comes to visit me in Madison I point out this place when we drive by. It is absolutely unreasonable how much I like this hardware store. First of all, they always have what I’m looking for, even when I was looking for some obscure circular light bulb. Most importantly, they’re very helpful and very kind. I’ve gone in with a handful of parts to something and asked for tips on how to jerry-rig it together, and every time the person I was talking to seemed genuinely excited to help me figure it out. Also sometimes their dog is there and that’s just the best.

Message: Very helpful. It took two tries, but they found the right specialized nut for an exterior lantern (turned out to be metric thread, 2nd trip I brought one of the old ones with me, always the best plan).

Message: Excellent service from a community-minded business. They offer a lot of product selection for a small store. If they don't carry it, they can likely order it for you. Staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for (or help you figure out what you should be looking for, depending on what project you want to accomplish). It is definitely worth going a bit out of your way to support a stellar local business like Quality Hardware that supports our local economy and community members.
